A Christian who thinks ahead about these things has an opportunity to MAKE A GIFT OF KINDNESS TO FAMILY AND CHURCH by expressing desires and preferences, and to make a significant witness to Jesus Christ by selecting hymns and Bible readings to be used at the service.
