Scholarship Team Announces Three Scholarship FundsThe first fund is for scholarships for college undergraduate degrees. Last year we were able to award five scholarships. The second fund is for college seminary scholarships (used when we support a seminarian like Shaun O'Reilly). The third fund is used for middle school and high school youth scholarshipsto assist with sending our young people to bible camps, National and Regional youth gatherings and Synod events.
How do these funds receive support?
Some of the support comes from friends and members like you who are passionate about young people's education. Your donations are tax deductible. Other support comes from the Good Shepherd Endowment Fund, the Columbarium Fund, and the Thrivent Choice dollars fund. If you would like to make a contribution to any of these scholarship funds listed above, please note on the memo line of your check which fund you are supporting.
